Celebrating  Black History Month

Meet St. Josephine Bakhita

Feast Day: Monday, February 8

February is Black History Month and we wanted to tell you about a St. Josephine Bakhita. She was born in the Darfur region of southern Sudan. She was kidnapped at the age of seven and re-sold several times.

During Lent, take time to learn about St. Josephine Bakhita and learn to see with her eyes. Imagine what she can teach us!
