Meet Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and the Sacred Heart Parish Family at their Vocation Fair Saturday, April 10, 2010. Meet and visit with Sr. Josita Colbert SNDdeN and Sr. Mary Corripio SNDdeN. The gathering will begin with an Eucharistic Liturgy at 9:00 a.m. followed by a simple reception and open time for visitation from 10:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

New Opera: Angel of the Amazon by Evan Mack

Evan Mack, composer, in conjunction with the San Francisco Pocket Opera, will perform scenes from his new opera celebrating the life and work of Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Dorothy Stang the weekend of April 30, 2010. The opera commerates the fifth anniversary of Sr. Dorothy's death in the Amazon Rainforest.

Women & Spirit: CATHOLIC SISTERS IN AMERICA
January 15, 2010-April 25, 2010

The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) has launched a nationally touring museum exhibit which opened in Cincinnati, OH (May 2009). The exhibit will open at the S. Dillon Ripley Center at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC on January 15, 2010.
